Chairperson Wilson called the meeting to order at 6:15 P.m,

C. Agenda Items
1. 25-180 Approval of meeting minutes of March 18, 2025.
Boardmember Nasser made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of the April 15,2025,
meeting.Boardmember seller seconded the motion.
2. 25-181 Presentation, discussion, and consideration of the procurement of 400 meter
boxes from Ferguson Waterworks to be used when converting to radio read
devices in the system. Staff requests authorization to purchase the meter
boxes in the amount not to exceed$106,000,00,
Boardmember Johnson made a motion that the purchase of four hundred(400)meter boxes from
Ferguson Waterworks in an amount not to exceed$106,000.00 be approved.Boardmember
Nesser seconded the motion.
District Director Mike Loggins explained the District needs to purchase meter boxes from
Ferguson Waterworks.The meter boxes will be used while installing radios to existing meters.
The radio installions are part of the WIFA grant for installing radios to existing meters and
approximately 10%of the existing meter boxes will need to be replaced during this project.

3. 25-182 Discussion and selection of dates,times and locations for budget work
sessions,tentative budget adoption, and final budget adoption for Fiscal Year
2025-2026.
Boardmember Nesser made a motion that the following dates,times,and locations for Fiscal Year
2025-2026 budget work session(s),tentative budget adoption and final budget adoption be
approved:special meeting for budget work session(s)on Tuesday,May 6,2025 at 6:00 p.m.in the
City Council Chambers;regular meeting for adoption of class and compensation,and tentative
budget on Tuesday,May 20,2025 at 6:00 p.m.in the City Council Chambers;and regular meeting
for public hearing and final budget adoption on Tuesday,June 17,2025 at 6:00 p.m.in the City
Council Chambers,Boardmember Cross seconded the motion.

4. 25-183 Presentation, discussion, and update on the 1 1th Annual Water Festival,
Mr. Loggins presented information about the 2025 Apache Junction Water Festival to be held on
April 24, 2025 at Prospector Park,
