Chairperson Wilson called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m.

1. 24-134 Approval of meeting minutes of February 20, 2024.
Vice Chairperson Schroeder made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of the January 16,
2024,meeting.Boardmember Heck seconded the motion.

2. 24-135 Presentation, discussion, and consideration of Resolution No. 2024-002,
requesting portions of the public utility easement located at 1353 South Vista
Road,Apache Junction,Arizona, be extinguished and are no longer
necessary for public use as a public utility easement.
Boardmember Heck made a motion that Resolution No.2024-002,a resolution of the Board of
Directors of the Water Utilities Community Facilities District(City of Apache Junction,Arizona)
declaring portions of the public utility easements located at 1353 South Vista Road,Apache
Junction,Arizona are no longer necessary for public use as a utility easement and are hereby
extinguished be approved.Vice Chairperson Schroeder seconded.

District Director Mike Loggins presented an overview of Resolution No. 2024-002, a request to
extinguish the water utility easement and declaring portions of the public utility easement located
at 1353 South Vista Road,Apache Junction,Arizona are no longer necessary for public use as
public utility easement.The District recommends abandoning the easement.
3. 24-136 Presentation, discussion, and consideration of Resolution No. 2024-003,
requesting a portion of the public utility easement located at 655 South
Conestoga Road,Apache Junction,Arizona, be extinguished and is no longer
necessary for public use as a public utility easement.
Boardmember Soller made a motion that Resolution No.2024-003,a resolution of the Board of
Directors of the Water Utilities Community Facilities District(City of Apache Junction,Arizona)
declaring a portion of the public utility easement located at 655 South Conestoga Road,Apache
Junction,Arizona is no longer necessary for public use as a utility easement and is hereby
extinguished be approved.Boardmember Johnson seconded.

necessary for public use as a public utility easement.
Boardmember Heck made a motion that Resolution No.2024-004,a resolution of the Board of
Directors of the Water Utilities Community Facilities District(City of Apache Junction,Arizona)
declaring portions of the public utility easement located at Parcel Number 0103-21-024J,Apache
Junction,Arizona are no longer necessary for public use as a utility easement and are hereby
extinguished be approved.Boardmember Johnson seconded.

use as public utility easement.The District recommends abandoning the easement.
D. District Manager Report
No report.
E. District Director Report
District Director Mike Loggins presented an update on cost increases for purchased water.
Central Arizona Project is increasing its cost for purchasing water by 8.3% and this increase will
affect future rates. Mr. Loggins wanted the Board to be aware of the upcoming changes,what
the costs to our customers might be and will present more information when Fiscal Year 2025
budget discussions begin at a future meeting.

Chairperson Wilson adjourned the meeting at 6:20 p.m.
