MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY
OCTOBER 8,2022
WHEREAS, serious social problems concern our nation our City and our future;
and
WHEREAS, we, the American people and the citizens of Apache Junction have a
tradition of philanthropy and volunteerism to bridge the differences
that separate people and help solve community problems; and
WHEREAS, in our city, nonprofit organizations, schools, corporations, houses of
worship, families, neighborhoods and friends serve together to make
a difference; and
WHEREAS, 2022 marks the 32"d annual Make A Difference Day held in
partnership with Arizona Sustainability Alliance; and
WHEREAS, the City of Apache Junction supports a vibrant community to enrich
the lives of our citizens,
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Chip Wilson, Mayor of Apache Junction do hereby proclaim
October 8,2022 as:
MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY
