MEETING MINUTES
BOARD OF DIRECTORS ROLL CALL: Others Present:

Vice Chairman Barker moved to accept and approve agenda items No. 4 (Approval and
adoption of Community Facilities District Interim Operating Budget) and No. 6
(Authorization to proceed with negotiations in regard to the bankruptcy action
of Consolidated) and to delete No. 5 (Approval and authorization to pay bills for
professional services) . Mrs. Richmond seconded the motion. The vote was 6-1
with Mr. Perkins being opposed.
District Board Attorney Farrell suggested to hold the next meeting in conjunction
with the City Council meeting of December 20. He informed the Board that on
January 5 and 6 at the Bankruptcy Court the plan from JACO Oil will be submitted
and that the following months through April will be very active. He suggested
having brief meetings prior to any of the regular council meetings.
Mrs. Surra was concerned with having the meetings in conjunction with council
meetings when they wished to maintain these as two separate entities.
The District Board discussed other possible times and places for their meetings
and the possible conflict with the city board and commissions meeting schedules.
Mr. Farrell explained that they would need about thirty minutes for their
meetings, that they would have a long agenda in April and the meeting will
probably have to be held at a public auditorium because it will attract a lot of
citizens.
Vice Chairman Barker moved to have the next meeting of the District Board at
6:00 p.m. on December 13 in the City Council Chambers. Mr. Hendricks seconded
the motion. The vote was unanimous.
