MEETING MINUTES BOARD OF DIRECTORS ROLL CALL: Others Present: Chairperson Jean Perkins District Attorney Bill Farrell Vice Chairperson Robin Barker District Clerk Kathy Connelly Mr. Douglas Coleman City Attorney Glenn Gimbut Mr. Paul Perkins - Absent Interim City Manager George Hoffman Mrs. Anne Surra District Treasurer Keith Lewis Mrs. Pat Richmond Public Safety Director Bob Galloway Mr. Keith Hendricks Public Works Director Doug Dobson Mr. Farrell updated the council on the Community Facilities District operating budget. He stated there were unexpended funds in the budget; that they have not contracted additional services with Rust Engineering; and asked for authorization to pay bills and invoices after May 15 to his law firm and the law firm of Jennings, Strouss and Salmon. Mrs. Barker moved to authorize payment of bills for legal services to Law Offices of William E. Farrell and the law firm of Jennings, Strouss and Salmon. Mr. Hendricks seconded the motion. Motion was passed unanimously. Mr. Farrell reported that the Bankruptcy Court proceedings were closed and then briefed the Board on the testimony hearings of May 1 and May 2. He stated that on May 2 the court ordered that each of the parties submit a brief on June 20 and that the Court will hear oral arguments on June 23 at 9:00 a.m. He stated that the judge will probably issue his ruling on June 23 and they speculate that it will be in favor of the JACO plan, which calls for a public auction of all the assets of Consolidated Water. Mr. Farrell suggested that an executive session at 6:00 p.m and a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. be held on Monday, June 26, 1995. Mrs. Surra moved in favor of that. Mrs. Richmond seconded the motion.
