MEETING MINUTES BOARD OF DIRECTORS ROLL CALL: Others Present: Chairperson Coleman Bill Farrell , District Attorney Vice Chairperson Richmond Curtis Shook, District Manager Mrs. Robin Barker Kathy Connelly, District Clerk Mr. Joe Durbala George Hoffman, Asst. City Manager Mrs. Grace Hagner Doug Dobson, Public Works Director Mr. Keith Hendricks Anne Kleindienst Mrs. Anne Surra Scott Parker, First Interstate Bank Consolidated Water Representatives District Attorney Bill Farrell informed the Board that a notice of the public hearing on adoption of the budget for FY 1995-96 was published in the newspaper. He then briefed the Board on the budget. Chairperson Coleman opened the public hearing; there being no one wishing to speak, he closed the hearing. Mr. Farrell briefed the Board on Resolution No. 1995-001, approving budget for Fiscal Year 1995-96. Mrs. Barker moved for adoption of Resolution No. 1995-001. Mr. Durbala seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Mr. Farrell briefed the Board on Resolution No. 1995-002, authorizing loan agreement with First Intestate Bank. Mrs. Surra moved to adopt Resolution No. 1995-002 and authorize the District Manager to enter into an agreement with First Interstate Bank and execute such agreement. Mr. Hendricks seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. Mr. Farrell informed the District Board that there would be no need for any meetings prior to October 13. Mr. Farrell reported that Arizona Bankruptcy Court has ordered a sale at 10:00 a.m. on October 16, 1995, of all of the assets of Consolidated Water Utilities; that the minimum amount to participate in the bid was $600,000 which must be deposited by October 5, 1995; and that the bidding will go up in increments of $25,000 each. He further briefed the District Board on the many inquiries regarding the sale of Consolidated Water, the numerous visits to the site by interested parties, and the ongoing series of bankruptcy court hearings still taking place and other legal procedures prior to the auction sale. He stated that on October 13 they will be seeking authorization to bid at the auction sale. Chairman Coleman asked if anyone had any questions. A member of the public asked if the budget was available to the public.
