REGULAR MEETING
DECEMBER 14,1998
The regular meeting of the District Board of the Water Utilities Community
Facilities District (Apache Junction Water Company),City of Apache Junction,
Arizona,was held on December 14,1998,at the Apache Junction City Council
Chambers pursuant to the notice required by law.
CALL TO ORDER
Chairperson Coleman called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Board Members Present:Chairperson Douglas Coleman
Vice Chairperson Anne Surra
Mr.R.E.Eck
Ms.Carol Urich
Mr.John Insalaco
Mr.Rick Dietz

MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF NOVEMBER 16,1998.
Ms.Urich SECONDED THE MOTION.
VOTE:Unanimous.

CONSIDERATION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN
DISTRICT AND SALT RIVER PROJECT FOR
INSTALLATION OF UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC LINE
ACROSS DISTRICT PROPERTY IN ORDER TO

AUTHORIZATION AND APPROVAL FOR THE DISTRICT MANAGER TO SIGN DOCUMENTS PERMITTING
SALT RIVER PROJECT,OTHERWISE KNOWN AS SRP,TO PROVIDE SERVICE TO BASELINE
INDUSTRIAL PARK BY INSTALLING UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC WIRES ACROSS THE PROPERTY OF
THE WATER UTILITIES COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT.
Mr.Eck SECONDED THE MOTION.
VOTE:Unanimous.
The motion carried.
DISTRICT MANAGER REPORT
District Manager Curtis Shook introduced Peter Plante, the new assistant to the
public works director for the city.He once worked for the city in 1993-94 as
a management assistant.He most recently worked for the City of Chandler.
DISTRICT TREASURER REPORT
District Treasurer Keith Lewis stated there is nothing major to report on the
latest financial report for November.He reminded them that even though it shows
a $400,000 cash balance at this point,they will have several high expenses

coming up,including the tax payments to Pinal County,the Central Arizona
Project water fees and the bond payment.
DISTRICT COUNSEL REPORT
None.
