REGULAR MEETING
•JULY 6,2004
The regular meeting of the District Board of the Water Utilities
Community Facilities District (Apache Junction Water Company),City of Apache
Junction,Arizona,was held on July 6,2004,at the Apache Junction City
Council Chambers pursuant to the notice required by law.
CALL TO ORDER
Chairperson Coleman called the meeting to order at 9:10 p.m.

MINUTES OF MAY 18,2004,BE APPROVED.
Mr.Waldron SECONDED THE
MOTION.

PRESENTATION OF AND DISCUSSION ON PROPOSED
BUDGET AND RATE SCHEDULES FOR FISCAL YEAR
2004-2005
)District Finance Manager John
White briefed the board on the item.He stated this is just the formal
presentation of the proposed budget.He was there to answer any questions at
this time.
Chairperson Coleman opened the item
to board discussion.There being no discussion,he moved on to the next
item.
DISCUSSION ON SCHEDULED DATES FOR PUBLIC
HEARINGS AND ADOPTION OF TENTATIVE AND
FINAL BUDGETS -)
)District Clerk Kathleen Connelly
stated they were planning on doing the tentative budget on July 20 at 6:00
p.m..The district's, attorpey.will be here that night as he has a pending
legal issue to discuss with the board.Final budget adoption will be at the
board's discretion.They have until October I,2004,for final budget
adoption.They tentatively plan on bringing that back on the second set of
meetings in August unless they hear otherwise.
Mr.Dietz stated i t sounded good.
District Finance Manager John White
asked if there would be any conflicts with any other boards meeting at that
time.
District Clerk Kathleen Connelly
stated not as long as they meet at 6:00 p.m.
Chairperson Coleman closed the
discussion and moved on to the next item.
APPROVAL OF TRANSFER OF $550,000 IN
APPROPRIATIONS FROM PLANT CAPITAL OUTLAY

TO SPECIAL CONTRACTURAL SERVICES IN THE
AMOUNT OF $50,000 AND OTHER DEBT SERVICE
EXPENSE IN THE AMOUNT OF $500,000
)District Finance Director John
White briefed the board on the item.He stated there was nothing to add to
the previous material presented in the packet.
Chairperson Coleman opened the item
to board discussion.There being no board discussion,the called for a
motion.
Mr.Waldron MOVED THAT THE TRANSFER
OF $550,000 IN APPROPRIATIONS FROM PLANT CAPITAL OUTLAY TO SPECIAL
CONTRACTURALY SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF $50,000 AND OTHER DEBT SERVICE
EXPENSE IN THE AMOUNT OF $500,000,BE APPROVED.
VOTE:Unanimous.
The motion carried.
