NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING AND AGENDA OF THE DISTRICT BOARD OF THE
WATER UTILITIES COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT(CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
ARIZONA)
Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the District Board of
the Water Utilities Community Facilities District, (City of Apache Junction,Arizona), and to the
general public, that on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.,the District Board of the Water
Utilities Community Facilities District will hold a meeting open to the public at the Apache
Junction City Council Chambers, 300 E. Superstition Blvd., Apache Junction, AZ.
A. Call to Order
Chairperson Wilson called the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m.
B. Roll Call
Present 6- Chairperson Wilson, Boardmember Schroeder, Boardmember Biggs,
Boardmember Nasser, Boardmember Evans,and Boardmember Gremmei

1. 21-062 Approval of the meeting minutes of January 19,2021.
Board Member Evans made a motion to approve the minutes of January 19,2021.Board Member
Biggs seconded.

2. 21-063 Discussion and consideration of Resolution No.2021-001, declaring portions
of the public utility easements located at 2024 South Cortez Road,Apache
Junction,Arizona, are no longer necessary for public use as public utility
easements and are hereby extinguished.
Board member Evans made a motion that Resolution No.2021-001,a resolution of the Board of
Directors of the Water Utilities Community Facilities District(City of Apache Junction,Arizona)
declaring portions of the public utility easements located at 2024 South Cortez Road,Apache
Junction,Arizona are no longer necessary for public use and are hereby extinguished,be
approved.Board member Nasser seconded.

District Director Mike Loggins presented an overview of Resolution No.2021-001, a request by
Sundance West RV to extinguish the water utility easement and declaring portions of the public
utility easements located at 2024 South Cortez Road,Apache Junction,Arizona are no longer
necessary for public use as public utility easements.
D. District Manager Report
District Manager Bryant Powell informed the board that Central Arizona Project and Salt River
Project would be presenting at a future meeting.
E. District Director Report - Presentation and discussion of the following items:

• State Land
• Intergovernmental Agreement between City of Apache Junction,Water
Utilities Community Facilities District and Superstition Mountains
Community Facilities District Number One
• Water System
District Director Mike Loggins presented an overview on future state land agreements including
an update on an Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Apache Junction,the Water
Utilities Community Facility District and the Superstition Mountain Community Facility District
Number One to service the new area located within State Land.
District Director Mike Loggins presented an overview on the availability of 817 acre feet of
Non-Indian Agricultural Priority Water from Central Arizona Project.The water will become
available to order in 2022 and will be added to the Water District's current portfolio.This water
has been budgeted for and Central Arizona Water Conservation District Board has offered a
five-year payment plan to pay for the water.
