1. 22-028 Approval of meeting minutes of November 16, 2021.
Boardmember Evans made a motion to approve the minutes of the meeting of November 16,
2021.Boardmember Schroeder seconded.

2. 22-029 Presentation, discussion and update on:
• Water System
District Director Loggins presented an update of the Apache Junction Water District's water
system.This included an update on the projects starting in the newly annexed state land area
located at Meridian Road to Idaho Road and Elliot Road to Ray Road. Projects include an
expansion of the Superstition Area Water Plant and a new transmission line leaving the plant to
the newly annexed area to the south, a non-potable tank and booster station and a non-potable
transmission line which will bring water to the parks and lakes that will be located in the area
being developed. The work is expected to be completed in 2023.
There are also two onsite projects, located at the northeast corner of Ray Road and Meridian
Road including Parcel 19.1 a 110-unit subdivision and Parcel 19.2 a 109-unit subdivision.The
first model homes by developer DR Horton, Inc., 20410 North 19th Avenue, Suite 100, Phoenix,
Arizona 85027 are expected to be completed by January 2023. Mr. Loggins will provide a map of
the area where the projects are located at the meeting in February.

Chairperson Wilson adjourned the meeting at 6:14 p.m.
