SPECIAL MEETING
March 29, 1982
A Special Meeting of the Apache Junction Parks and Recreation
Commission was held on March 29, 1982 at 7:00 D.M.at the Apache
Junction City Hall Complex pursuant to notice as prescribed by law.

The meeting was called to order by Lois
Broman, Chairman.
A motion was made by Harvey Long to re-
commend to the City Council the reappoint-
ment of Phil Richardson, Ron Staples, and
Jan Palson to three year terms expiring
April, 1935.The motion was seconded by
Hedy Hall and carried unanimously.
There was a general discussion held on
plans for the 1982 Summer Recreation
Program regarding Programs to exnand or
reduce and the length of the program.
Jeff Bell told the Commission the program
would be in final form by April meeting
for their recommendation to the City
Council to approve.
Discussion was held on the Easter Egg
Hunt scheduled for 10 a.m. April 10 at
the high school football field.Flyers
are going to school and news releases in
only the local newspapers.The age limit
will be the 4th grade.Field will be
sectioned into three sections; 3 years
and under, 4-5-6 years, and 7-8-9-10 years.
One hundred dozen eggs have been donated
by the Henny Penny Egg Company.Lois
Broman, Hedy Hall, Ron Staples, and Jan
Palson volunteered to help cook and color
eggs.
A motion was made by Margaret Carlin to
adjourn.Motion seconded by Michael
Carden and carried unanimously.
