A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of Trustees
was held June 5, 1990 at 6:00 p.m. at the Apache Junction Library pursuant to
notice as prescribed by law.

Motion was made by Barbara Gordon and
seconded by Cindy Selvy to accept the
agenda.
Motion was made by Barbara Gordon and
seconded by Randy Palmer to accept the
Minutes.
Librarian discussed the purchase of a
book dedicated to the memory of Terry
Spence.Keys to Kindergarten program
was very successful.52 attended.
LSCA Literacy Grant funding approval for
$25,000.Monthly statistical report was
given.
Mary Ann Webb was nominated.Motion was
made by Cindy Selvy and seconded by Barbara
Gordon.Roll call vote taken.Motion
approved.
City Council meeting scheduled 3rd
Tuesday of month. Final budget adoption
then.
Kim Phillippi and Karen Baker were
nominated.Motion was made by Barbara
Gordon and seconded by Randy Palmer.
Roll call vote taken.Approved for
recommendation to the City Council.

A Special Meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of Trustees
was held on June 29, 1990 at 4:00 p.m. at the Apache Junction Library
pursuant to notice as prescribed by law.

Motion was made by Barbara Gordon
and seconded by Cindy Selvy to accept
the agenda.Motion carried.
In reviewing the report, a typographical
error was noted on a date on one page.
Prior to adoption, corrected pages were
given to Board.Among other items
discussed, it was observed that circulation
had increased by about 1,000 items per
month.Motion was made by Barbara Gordon
and seconded by Cindy Selvy to approve
Annual Report.Roll call vote taken.
Passed unanimously.
