Special Meeting -December 13,1990
A Special Meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of
Trustees was held on December 13,1990 at 6:00 p.m.at the
Apache Junction Library pursuant to notice as prescribed by law.

hours for the library:

Motion was made by Randy
Palmer and seconded by
Robert Alger to accept the
agenda.Motion carried.
The Library Director
explained that Donna
Headrick,Sr.Library
Assistant in charge of
Circulation Services,had
accepted a professional
librarian position at
Maricopa County Library.
Following her departure,the
library staff,already cut
from i t s 1990/91 budgeted
level,would be further
reduced.The staff reduction
reflects current citywide
revenue difficulties forcing
a number of budget
reductions.Given the
worsening situation,reduced
library service hours were
necessary.Two schedules
were presented by the Library
Director with the pros and
cons of each schedule
explained.

Randy Palmer made a motion to
act on the Library Director's
recommendation and approve
Schedule II.Robert Alger
seconded the motion.The
Board unanimously approved
the motion.
Randy Palmer moved,seconded
by Robert Alger,to adjourn.
Passed unanimously.
