A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board
was held February 5,1991 at 6:00 p.m.at the Apache
Library pursuant to notice as prescribed by law.

The Library Director presented
the monthly statistics and
also reported the completion
of Library Card Sign -Up Month.
It was very successful.

"Art of the Golden West"was
chosen as the memorial book
for Kit Johnston from the
Library Board.
Board considered possible way
to acknowledge magazine gift
subscriptions.Letters of
thanks,labels on binders
identifying donor,and
certificates for large gifts
were discussed.A card saying
"We support the library with
a gift subscription"for the
business to place in its
window was also mentioned.
Library Director asked if any
Board members had questions
concerning the Library
Trustees Handbook.None were
raised.
Pamela Loui reviewed the
preliminary budget request
noting the reductions made
from last year's budget.
Motion was made by Robert
Alger and seconded by
Josephine Campbell to accept
the preliminary budget.
Passed unanimous.
None present.
