Regular Meeting
April 2,1991
A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of
Trustees was held April 2,1991 at 6:00 p.m.at the Apache Junction
Library pursuant to notice as prescribed by law.

Motion was made by Robert
Alger and seconded by
Josephine Campbell to accept
the agenda.Motion passed.

Pam Loui reported that Barbara
Gordon,Gladys Benson and
Virginia Carlson-Foat were
honored with certificates
presented at the Apache
Junction Friends of the
Library Meeting.
Regional meeting of the
Arizona Library Friends being
held at our library on April
19.
Monthly statistics were
reported.There were several
story hours,tours and movies
during the month.

a.Patron wishes to donate an
authorized reproduction of a
painting to the library:
b.Discussion on supporting
Pinal County District budget:
No action has yet been taken
on the proposed budget.
Pam Loui gave everyone a copy
of the magazine subscription
letter the Friends of the
Library are sending out to the
different organizations,
mentioning that businesses
will not be approached until
next Fall.
Larry Kluth donated a
reproduction of a painting by
Grandma Moses.Motion was
made by Josephine Campbell and
seconded by Robert Alger to
accept the painting.Motion
passed by a roll call vote.
Pamela Loui reported that the
Pinal County Library District
ranks 9th in budget and 9th in
per capita spending of the ten
library districts.Even the
10th shows continually
increasing amounts being
budgeted for library service.
She recommended that library
supporters interested in
seeing the district funded at
higher levels contact our
District Supervisor.
Motion was made by Cindy Selvy
