Library staff has seen the
Newsbank product which has the
Arizona Republic, Phoenix
Gazette and the Arizona
Business Gazette on CD-ROM.
Staff recommends that this be
the focus of the magazine fund
raising campaign instead of
individual subscriptions.This
will be very beneficial for
answering patron reference
questions, and will be easier
to maintain than would a number
of single year subscriptions
since all would be subject to
annual renewal.There will be
a meeting of the Board
representative (Cindy Selvy)
and the Friends of the Library
representative (Bill Murch) as
soon as it can be arranged.
A building expansion
of some type is needed.
The need for additional
parking area was noted.
Shelving is urgently needed.
Board members discussed some
options for getting the
concerns of citizens voiced to
the City Council. Cheryl
Connolly suggested use
of a petition. After some
discussion a motion was made
