Regular Meeting
August 3, 1993
A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of
Trustees was held August 3, 1993 at 6:00 p.m. at the Apache Junction
Library pursuant to notice as prescribed by law.

Motion was made by Cheryl
Connolly and seconded by Richard
Morrison to accept the agenda.
Motion passed.
Motion was made by Cindy Selvy
and seconded by Pamela Rineholt to
accept the minutes of the June 1,
1993 meeting.Motion passed.
Motion was made by Cindy Selvy
and seconded by Pamela Rineholt to
accept the minutes of the June 23,
1993 meeting.Motion passed.
Copy of statistics for June and
July was given to each Board
member to review at their leisure.
Any questions would be answered at
the next meeting.

Tentative budget for 1993/94
has been approved.Final adoption
should take place this evening.
Ab Hameed and John Szafran were
introduced.The study they've been
doing for the City, in regards to
long term needs, was explained.
Motion was made by Pam Rineholt and
seconded by Richard Morrison to
approve master/site plan as presented.
Motion passed.
Unofficial word is, contingent upon
their receipt of 1994 funds, they
have voted to approve the grant in
the amount of $280,000.They would
have liked to have done more, but
could not.Final word should come
in October or November.
Motion was made by Pam Rineholt
and seconded by Jean Namsick to
table this item until next
meeting.Motion passed.
None present.
