Regular Meeting
November 2, 1993
A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of
Trustees was held November 2, 1993 at 6:00 p.m. at the Apache Junction
Library pursuant to notice as prescribed by law.

Motion was made by Robert Alger
and seconded by Jean Namsick
to accept the agenda.
Motion passed.
Motion was made by Jimmy Griffing
and seconded by Robert Alger
to accept the minutes.
Motion passed.
Announcements were made of upcoming
events.Statistics were higher than
those of the same month in the
previous year.The quarterly
reference count showed an increase
over the same quarter in the previous
year.
It was reported that a memo was sent
to Doug Dobson to give an estimate
for the items needed for better
security. Sgt. Haywood and Officer
Pound will conduct a special training
session for all employees in November.

It was reported that money has been
advanced by the Friends of the
Library for a deposit on the wagon
being used in the Lost Dutchman
Parade.
Motion was made by Richard Morrison
and seconded by Robert Alger to
finalize revision to by-laws Article
IV, Section 1, by adding Vice
President to the list of officers
elected at the annual meeting. Motion
passed.
Motion was made by Jimmy Griffing
and seconded by Jean Namsick to
finalize revision to by-laws
Article II, Section 4, to
alter the order of business on
the meeting agendas to reflect the
form commonly used.Motion passed.
Postponed until next time.
Board was given a tour of the
cataloged documents by the
Library Director, Pam Loui.
