December 7, 1993
A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of
Trustees was held December 7, 1993 at 6:05 p.m. at the Apache Junction
Library pursuant to notice as prescribed by law.

Motion was made by Robert Alger
and seconded by Jean Namsick to
accept the agenda. Motion passed.
Motion was made by Robert Alger
and seconded by Richard Morrison to
accept the minutes of the November
2, 1993 meeting.Motion passed.
Statistics up again over a year ago.
Special emphasis on programs and a
reminder of annual volunteer
recognition luncheon and program on
January 15, 1994.The Christmas
program will be on December 10.
The book discussion group starts to
meet in January.The Old West
Festival was a success.
The Lost Dutchman Parade committee
reported they will have a wagon.
People wearing storybook costumes
will ride and the others will walk.
May have a source for some costumes.
May be receiving money from Rotary
Club.

The library has been granted EDIC
status.It will include connection
to Internet and core collection of
documents. The library has committed
to two years of maintaining
materials.
Material was delivered today. Will
table presentation until next
meeting.
