A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of
Trustees was held February 1, 1994 at 6:00 p.m. at the Apache Junction
Library pursuant to notice as prescribed by law.

to accept the agenda.

Reviewed report for both December
and January since no meeting was
held in January.Very large jump
in circulation was noted over same
months in the previous year.
Lost Dutchman Parade Entry
committee reported a major change
to costume plans, basically to
start over.There will be another
meeting on February 2, 1994.
Following Safety Committee
recommendations, library staff is
getting quotes on items and is
investigating additional items for
internal security.
None.

Motion was made by Robert Alger and
seconded by Jean Namsick to accept the
resignation of Cindy Selvy from the
Library Board. Motion passed by a roll
call vote.
The library has one staff Internet
connection and will probably get a
public connection in a month or so.
Will be writing policy for access.
Grant for expansion has been
approved.Have received waiver from
Park Service for building expansion
into park area.
Josten's INVEST program was explained
to the Board.Demonstration followed
the meeting.
None present.
Letter of appreciation to former
Board members.
Internet update.
Election of new secretary to fill
vacancy.
Report on Lost Dutchman Day
activities.
Report from Safety Committee.
Budget presentation.
Talent Bank application review.
Motion was made by Robert Alger and
seconded by Jean Namsick to adjourn.
Meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
