Idaho Road Regular Meeting March 1, 1994 A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of Trustees was held March 1, 1994 at 6:13 p.m. at the Apache Junction Library pursuant to notice as prescribed by law. Roll Call -- Present Absent Alger, Robert Connolly, Cheryl Namsick, Jean A. Morrison, Richard S. Staff: Pamela Loui, Library Director Rineholt, Pamela J. The meeting was conducted by Vice President Cheryl Connolly in the absence of President Pamela Rineholt. 1. Acceptance of Agenda: 2. Acceptance of Minutes for February 1, 1994 Regular Meeting: 3.Librarian's Report: 4. Committee Reports: Motion was made by Robert Alger and seconded by Jean Namsick to accept the agenda. Library Director extended thanks to parade committee for a successful entry in the Lost Dutchman Days parade.February was busy month. Day after President's Day is traditionally the busiest day of year. Report was given on financial (EDIC) seminar at Morrison Institute. a. Lost Dutchman Parade Entry Committee:There will be a parade evaluation meeting on March 9 at 4:00. New Business: a. Acceptance of resignation of Jimmy Griffing from the Library Board: b. Talent Bank application review: c. Budget presentation: Library staff got estimates on lighting and some other security items.The City Managers approval is needed. No new information. The library has received a draft copy of project specifications from DPA Architects now being reviewed by city engineer and planning department.Copy is available for review. Motion was made by Robert Alger and seconded by Jean Namsick to accept the resignation, with regret, of Jimmy Griffing from the Library Board. Motion passed by a roll call vote. No applications submitted. Budget request is slightly down from last year due to salary hold by City.Library Director gave an explanation of how other budget items were derived. Motion was made by Richard Morrison and seconded by Robert Alger to accept the budget request.Motion passed by a roll call vote.
