Idaho Road Regular Meeting May 3, 1994 A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of Trustees was held May 3, 1.994 at 6:00 p.m. at the Apache Junction Library pursuant to notice as prescribed by law. Roll Call -- Present Absent Alger, Robert Hauck, Jeanette D. Griffing, Kendra Rineholt, Pamela Namsick, Jean A. Morrison, Richard S. Staff:Pamela Loui, Library Director 1. Acceptance of Agenda: 2. Library expansion update: Connolly, Cheryl Motion was made by Robert Alger and seconded by Jean Namsick to accept the agenda. Motion passed. Patron visits up over 300.There are only two shelvers left since winter visitor volunteers have left.Have implemented two security measures. Still waiting for cost on panic bar door. Motion was made by Robert Alger and seconded by Richard Morrison to accept the government documents policy.Motion passed unanimously by a roll call vote. Elizabeth Burks reported on the upcoming summer reading program, "Get a Clue at the Library." She described incentives, prizes and contests.Very extensive list of programs. Cheryl Connolly and Pamela Rineholt's terms will be expiring on June 30, 1994. Orientation session will be held on May 10, 1994. None present. Internet update. Library expansion update. Proposed budget update. Report on orientation. Discussion on having second safety meeting. Motion was made by Robert Alger and seconded by Jean Namsick to adjourn.
