A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of
Trustees was held June 7, 1994 at 6:11 p.m. at the Apache Junction
Library pursuant to notice as prescribed by law.

accept the agenda.

Statistics increased over last
year.Summer Reading Program
started on May 31.A cooperative
program was started with Central
Arizona College.They provide
people for a GED program through
our learning center.
Spencer attended a program for
interlibrary loan system (AZNET).
Exchanges of information to be
through internet to save toll fees.

Bids opened today.Three companies
•bid. Low bid looks to be within
budget.Moving forward.
Progressing satisfactorily.
Library policies were reviewed.
Motion was made by Richard
Morrison and seconded by Robert
Alger to accept the proposed
changes to the library policies.
Motion passed by a unanimous
roll call vote.
New fee schedule was reviewed.
Motion was made by Robert Alger
and seconded by Jean Namsick to
accept the proposed changes to
fee schedule as described.
Motion passed by a unanimous
roll call vote.
May have another safety training
meeting in the Fall.It would
cover general safety and be a
cooperative venture between the
library and the police department.
It would be open to the public.
None present.
Internet update.
Library expansion.
Budget update.
Motion was made by Robert Alger
and seconded by Jean Namsick to
adjourn.Meeting adjourned at
