Regular Meeting
August 2, 1994
A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of Trustees was held
August 2, 1994 at 6:07 p.m. at the Apache Junction Library pursuant to notice as
prescribed by law.

The meeting was conducted by Vice President Cheryl Connolly. President Pamela
Rineholt arrived late.

Motion was made by Robert Alger and
seconded by Jeanette Hauck to accept
the agenda. Motion passed.

Motion was made by Robert Alger and
seconded by Kendra Griffing to accept
the minutes with the correction of
addition of Jean Namsick as being
present at the meeting.Motion passed.
The report covered two months due to
no meeting in July.
Attendance continued to increase over a
year ago.The Summer Reading
Program was a big success.
Problems with software at state level.
Having weekly meetings with involved
persons.Some demolition started.
Progress being made on site.
Budget was adopted with no substantial
changes.
Motion was made by Cheryl Connolly
and seconded by Kendra Griffing to
nominate Robert Alger for President.
Motion passed by a Roll Call vote.
Motion was made by Robert Alger and
seconded by Jeanette Hauck to nominate
Richard Morrison for Vice President.
Motion passed by a Roll Call vote.

Motion was made by Jeanette Hauck and
seconded by Robert Alger to nominate
Pamela Rineholt for Secretary.Motion
passed by a Roll Call vote.
Postponed.
Jeanette Hauck, Kendra Griffing and
Robert Alger volunteered to work on
committee with TAB & FOL.They
were then appointed.
Spencer presented purpose of
application.He requested letter of
support for the Board.Motion was
made by Richard Morrison and seconded
by Robert Alger to draw up a letter to
show support and authorize President
to sign for Board.Motion passed by a
Roll Call vote.

Library expansion update.
Motion was made by Jean Namsick and
seconded by Robert Alger to adjourn.
Meeting adjourned at 6:45 p.m.
