Regular Meeting
September 5, 1995
A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of Trustees was held
September 5, 1995 at 6:00 p.m. at the Apache Junction Library pursuant to notice as
prescribed by law.

Motion was made by Jean Nainsick
and seconded by Cheryl Connolly to
accept the agenda. Motion passed.
Motion was made by Jeanette Hauck
and seconded by John Schoeph to
accept the minutes for the August 1,
1995 Regular Meeting.Motion
passed.
Just about held our own with a year ago.
Patron visits are up.More books have
been added.We are loaning about twice
as much as we are borrowing in ILL.
Had first educators' open house and
Teen Advisory Board party.

Motion was made by Robert Alger and
seconded by Cheryl Connolly to affirm
election from last month. Roll call vote
was unanimous in favor of Jean Namsick
for President, John Schoeph for Vice
President and Kendra Griffing for
Secretary.
Not much to report other than what
we've already heard.We saw the model
for the 2010 building concept.
It stayed much the same as the tentative.
We're disappointed we didn't get third
new staff person, but understand and
hope for next year.Have used two COE
students for pages.Capital outlay was
cut some, but we did better overall than
last year.
Robert Alger has phone number of
person who has wagon and antique
vehicle.He will contact him.John
Schoeph, Jeanette Hauck, Robert Alger
and Jean Namsick will be on the
committee. May be able to have
costumed Indians in our entry.

We received notices of picnic September
29th.Would like volunteers to help with
games.
A brief introduction on Internet was
given. After we adjourn we will gather
around the computer to learn more about
the Internet through a demonstration.
