Idaho Road Regular Meeting October 3, 1995 A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of Trustees was held October 3, 1995 at 6:00 p.m. at the Apache Junction Library pursuant to notice as prescribed by law. Roll Call Present Absent Alger, Robert Hauck, Jeanette D. Connolly, Cheryl Griffing, Kendra Rineholt, Pamela J. Namsick, Jean Staff: Pamela Loui, Library Director 1. Acceptance of Agenda: 2. Acceptance of minutes for September 5, 1995 Regular Meeting: 3. Librarian's Report: Schoeph, John Motion was made by Robert Alger and seconded by Pamela Rineholt to accept the agenda. Motion passed. Motion was made by Robert Alger and seconded by Cheryl Cormolly to accept the minutes for the September 5, 1995 Regular Meeting.Motion passed. The library is on the Internet with a Home Page.The City's page is still under construction and the Chamber is almost completed.In November the school district and CAC will be involved in a joint effort with the public library to City of Apache Junction Library Board of Trustees Regular Meeting October 3, 1995 Page 2 4.01d Business: 5. New Business: a. Teen Advisory Board annual report to the Library Board of Trustees: b. Set date for Lost Dutchman Days parade committee to meet: educate the public about the Internet. Inventory starts this month and volunteers are needed.On November 1st, Janet Fisher from the State Library's Federal Documents Depository will be meeting with us to help us prepare for a federal inspector of depository libraries who is to visit in January. Jennifer Walkup was hired as a COE. Angie McDonald was hired to start next week. Patron use is way up while circulation is about the same.This means more people are using the library for other reasons (i.e. computers, videos, research.) None Susie Alonzo from the 17 member Teen Advisory Board gave us a report.She said they did a Christmas play, helped with the Lost Dutchman Parade and the Pandamonium Summer Program.Plans are being made for the Lost Dutchman Parade this year and in January they'll start working on the summer reading program. Motion was made by Robert Alger and seconded by Cheryl Connolly to hold the first meeting on Monday, October 16th at 4:00 p.m. Robert Alger is checking on a trailer. Motion was made by Pamela Rineholt and seconded by Robert Alger to adjourn.Meeting adjourned at 6:17 p.m.
