June 4, 1996
A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of Trustees was held June
4, 1996 at 6:01 p.m. at the Apache Junction Library pursuant to notice as prescribed by
law.

Motion was made by Robert
Alger and seconded by Jean
Namsick to accept the agenda.
Motion passed.
Motion was made by Robert Alger
and seconded by John Schoeph to
accept the minutes for the May 7, 1996
Regular Meeting.Motion passed.
Jean, John and Robert have been notified
of procedures to follow for possible
reappointment.Last page of April
Monthly Report was corrected.We are
into the Summer Reading Program.It
is going well.Volunteer hours are
staying high.Linda Mount has resigned.

The budget will be submitted as
written to the City Manager.Everything
in it is needed to serve the public.
Things are progressing.Error messages
required rerunning the index.Ten
records have been cataloged to test
uploading.So far patrons seem to like it.
Work is going forward.We still do not
have our networked software and there is
a delay in setting up.
Jill Giardina has been hired.She has a
specialty in MARC records.She will
help with cataloging as well as
circulation.She has quite a bit of
experience.
Motion was made by Pamela Rinehoh
and seconded by Robert Alger to hold
the Special Meeting for approval of
annual report on Thursday, June 27th at
5:00 p.m. Motion passed with a roll call
vote.
