Because of the State Statute requirement that this
report must be filed with the Council on or before
the first Monday of July, the year must always end
early. These are not the "final" audited figures for
the year but are the Library's receipts and
expenditures for 1999/2000 as of June 22, 2000.
The Library collects the statistical data.Every year
it becomes more impressive. The report shows
reference inquiries for the year at 28,964.

loaned. There were 3,372 new readers registered,
bringing the total registration to 18,494.7,135 titles
were added and 1,453 books were withdrawn.

owned.A -V collections, included in the previous

increasing
Barbara Gardner and Scott Gardiner agreed that a
chart showing the statistical data should be created
in the future, so it might be used when asking for
money.Pamela Loui stated that something might
be drawn from the State Report since it is more
detailed and would include the entire fiscal year.
