Library Board members asked if there was
any way to tell what kind of impact amnesty
had. There was no way to get any kind of a
count. We do know that we received a few
books back that had already been taken out
of the system.Pam did compare December
2002 fines with the fines from December
2003 and found the difference to be more
than $900.Due to the increase in circulation
and use in the past year however,
community members probably saved at least
$1,200.00 in fine monies.
