Pam notified the Board about the upcoming

interested in going, should let Pam know as
soon as possible. Pam reviewed statistics for
January.Statistics in books has decreased
slightly from one year ago. Most other
categories have increased from one year
ago.Volunteer hours were high.Pam
calculated that for the 23 days we were open
for the month the hours averaged out to
almost 16 hours per day. That would be
nearly 2 full-time people in a given day. We
are very thankful for the volunteers that we
have.
We are still in a very preliminary
programming phase. So far it has been an
interesting experience.The architects may
come to talk to the Board at the March or
April Board meeting.
Staff has requested that Pam ask the Board
to reconsider the number of cd'.s'to be
checked out at one time and the possibility
to increase:subject limits. ,The current
number of cd's that can be checked out is
three and subject limits are currently set to
three.Theresa Nesser made a motion to
increase the number of cd's that can be
checked out to seven and to allow the limits
of subjects to be left to staff discretion.
