Regular Meeting
October 12, 2006
A regular meeting of The Board of Trustees of Apache
Junction Public Library was held October '12, 2006 at 6:16
p.m. at the Apache Junction Library pursuant to notice as
prescribed by law.

Meeting:
The question of accepting the
agenda for the October 12,
2006, regular Meeting was
placed before the Board.
Everett Deidiker made a
motion to accept:the agenda.
Pamela Kantowski seconded the
motion.All members present
were in favor.

on library building
project.

Director Pam Loui reviewed
statistics for the monthly
report and showed that some
categories have increased
while some declined compared
to those of one year ago.
Spencer reported that the
Architects, Project Manager
and Contractors have been in
discussion to see where cuts
and adjustments can be made
in an attempt to drop costs
associated with the
expansion.This may cause
some delay in the expansion
process. Pam Louiyill,
provide an update -to -the
Board at the Dext, meeting
Meet Linda Kohopitski'. Linda
is an Adult Services
Reference Librarian.Linda
works full-time and has
worked at the Library for 9
years.Some of her duties
include working at the
reference desk to assist
patrons with searches and
questions.
Linda is responsible for
selection and weeding of the
Adult Video, Reference,
Government Documents, and
Science Fiction Collections.

Linda is also responsible for
updating s-elected.ebs'ites on
the webpage _
