Regular Meeting
January 11, 2007
A regular meeting of The Board of Trustees of Apache
Junction Public Library was held January 11, 2007 at 6:30
p.m. at the Apache Junction Library pursuant to notice as
prescribed by law.

The question of accepting the
agenda for the January 11,
2007 regular Meeting was
placed before the Board.
Rhonda Jackson made a motion
to accept the agenda. Everett
Deidiker seconded the motion.
All members present were in
favor.

on library building
project.

method to redefine
the library.

Director Pam Loui has asked
Community Relations Manager,
Pat Brenner to prepare a news
release notifying the public
that we are in need of
another Library Board member.
The monthly 'report showed
that some categories have
increased while some declined
compared to those of one year
ago.

We have met WithfabTicators
who will be working on the,
special projects for_the
youth ,area.The,architect,s
are in the process of
completing construction
documentsApythe end of this
week and will be meeting at
the Library on Friday to
discuss how they will be
addressing the sound and
visibility issues in the .
library. Pam Loui will
provide an update to the
Board at the next meeting.
Comments from the Library
Board and the Friends of the
Library have been gathered
together.Some ideas listed
are incorporated in the
expansion.Other ideas will

Meet Gail Graham-Fisel. Gail
started volunteering at the
library in October of 1987.
She began her employment in
1989 and started working
full-time in July of 1990.
Gail is a Library Clerk II.
Some of her duties include:
check -in and check-out,
recycling of materials,
handling of the magazine
subscriptions and
distribution of mail.Gail
also handles all repairs on
library materials. Gail will
be retiring from the library
in August 2007.
