A regular meeting of The Board of Trustees of Apache
Junction Public Library was held May 10, 2007 at 6:34 p.
at the Apache Junction Library pursuant to notice as
prescribed by law.

Book circulations, patron
visits and in-house computer
use all rose compared to a
year ago, while audio
materials and video materials
declined.With express
checkout we had to change the
way we count audio-visual,
now by titles rather than by
items, so declines are
expected.Programs for
children, teens, and adults
had goocrattendance in May.
The start of theYx.emod_pi on
the South Wing4aa'Sbeen -
pushed up to June 11, .2007.
Nothing new has happened to
date. Pam will provide an
update at the next meeting.
Meet Bob Cutler.Bob is a
Computer Lab Assistant. Bob
was a History teacher at a
college in Springfield, OH
and retired in 1999.Bob
volunteered at the library
prior to his employment as a
Lab Assistant and is looking
forward to the expansion.

Pam presented the results of
the internal Customer
Satisfaction Survey to the
Board members. Overall
Satisfaction with the Library
ranked very high with 97% of
our customers choosing good
or excellent.The greatest
concern was with Parking
where 61% rated it good or
excellent. For staff courtesy
the rankings were 95% at the
good or excellent rating.
Over 1,000 answered these
questions.
Pam requested that the
special Board meeting be set
for Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at
6:15 p.m.Theresa Nesser
made a motion to hold the
special Board meeting on
Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at
6:15 p.m. Everett Deidiker
seconded the motion.All
members present were in
favor.
