September 13, 2007
A regular meeting of The Board of Trustees of Apache
Junction Public Library was held September 13, 2007 at 6:30
p.m. at the Apache Junction Library pursuant to notice as
prescribed by law.

Rhonda Jackson made a motion
to accept the agenda. Lois

Pam Loui reported,that City
Attorney,joel,Stern„will be
attenai the Octbbr Library
Boardmpeting -tpdiscuss the
Open Meeting Law, 'Conflict of
Interest and ,HB 2208:_ 'chapter
71 A.R.S. Amendment 38-431 on
Public Meetings and
Proceedings. Pam discussed
the monthly report and stated
that some categories
increased in use while some
declined compared to those of
one year ago.
The remodel of the south wing
is near completion.
Furniture will be delivered
the week of September 17th.
Progress has also been made
on the expansion.•
Meet T.J. Watkins.T.J. is
the Library Security Worker.
He has been with ,the Library
since February of 2007 and
works full-time.T.J.
previously worked for the
City of Apache Junction for
24.years in the Police
Department. He enjoys working
in the Library.

members on a tour of the
expansion and remodeled south
wing.

Discussion on recognition of
a teen who has contributed
his or her time to the
library the most in a month.
Discussion of what areas are
available for Adults in the
new/remodeled library.
