Regular Meeting
February 12, 2009
A regular meeting of The Board of Trustees of Apache
Junction Public Library was held February 12, 2009 at 6:35
p.m. at the Apache Junction Library pursuant to notice as
prescribed by law. With the President absent, Vice
President Rhonda Jackson conducted the meeting.

The question of accepting the
agenda for the February 12,
2009 regular Meeting was
placed before the Board.
Theresa Nesser made a motion
to accept the agenda. Everett
Deidiker seconded the motion.

Pam provided informational
packets to the Library Board
on Home Rule. She also
reviewed monthly reports for
November and December 2008
and January 2009 and stated
that there were increases in
circulation of materials
compared to those of one year
ago in each month. Several
programs were held over the
reported months.
None.
Teen Advisory Board
President, Sarah Simeonoff
talked about what the teens
have done over the past year
Some things included were
providing tours for the
Library grand opening,
writing a letter to future
teens for the time capsule,
hosting game night and kids
movies.There were also
several "make and take"
programs and the Teen Summer
Reading program.
Meet Debbie Obolewicz.
Debbie has worked for the
Library since 2003.She
started part-time as a
Library Page and is currently
a full-time Processing
