Regular Meeting
June 11, 2009
A regular meeting of The Board of Trustees of Apache
Junction Public Library was held June 11, 2009 at 6:30 p.m.
at the Apache Junction Library pursuant to notice as
prescribed by law. With the President absent, Vice
President Rhonda Jackson conducted the meeting.

meeting:
The question of accepting the
agenda for the June 11, 2009
regular Meeting was placed
before the Board. Theresa
Nesser made a motion to
accept the agenda with the
request that item D be
changed to say "Acceptance of
the Minutes for May 14, 2009
Regular Meeting.-A second
was made by Jon Lokensgard.
All members present were in
favor.

1. Discussion on Article
III, section 2 of the
Library Board By -Laws.
2. Confirmation of date
and time in June for
special Board meeting
to discuss and approve
the Library Board
Annual Report.
Nesser seconded the motion.
All other members present
were in favor.
None.
None.
Spencer Paden reviewed the
monthly report and stated
that there were increases in
circulation of materials
compared to those of one year
ago. Programs continue to be
popular.
Theresa Nesser made a motion
that a change be made to
Article III, Item 2 - Terms
Of Office from notifying the
Secretary of the Board if a
member moves out of the City
of Apache Junction to
notifying the Library
Director or Library Manager
of the change.
Rhonda Jackson confirmed with
the Board that Tuesday, June
23 at 6:30 p.m. was scheduled
as the date and time of the
Special Board Meeting to
discuss the Library Board
Annual Report.
