A. Call to Order
A regular meeting of The Board of Trustees of Apache
Junction Public Library was held May 12, 2011, at 6:30 p.m.
at the Apache Junction Library pursuant to notice as
prescribed by law.

C. Acceptance of Agenda:
D. Acceptance of Minutes for
April 14, 2011, regular
meeting.
The question of accepting the
agenda for the May 12, 2011,
regular Meeting was placed
before the Board. Theresa
Nesser made a motion to
accept the agenda. Loretta
Nielsen seconded the motion.
All members present were in
favor.

Spencer Paden reviewed the
monthly report for April.
Spencer noted that an
applicant will be interviewed
this week.
The renewal request was
resubmitted to answer in more
detail specific questions as
requested by First Things
First. The City Council did
get a chance to tour the Fun
Van at their last meeting.
Meet Craig Smith.Craig has
been with the library for
almost 5 years.His job
duties include working the
service desk, IT, graphics,
videos and photo archiving.
Craig is a senior at ASU and
will be receiving his
Bachelors Degree in Art
History.
This item has been tabled for
a future agenda in September.

3.Setting of date and
time in June for Special
Board meeting to discuss
and approve the Library
Board Annual Report.Rhonda Jackson made a motion
to set the special meeting of
the Library Board to be held
on June 23, 2011, at 6:30
p.m. Theresa Nesser seconded
the motion. All members
present were in favor. There
will be no Library Board
meeting in July.
