June 26, 2014
A special meeting of The Board of Trustees of Apache
Junction Public Library was held June 26, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at
the Apache Junction Library pursuant to notice as prescribed by
law.

vote for approval of
the Apache Junction Public
Library Board of Trustees
Annual 2013-2014 Annual
Report:
The question of accepting the
agenda for the June 26, 2014
regular Meeting was placed before
the Board. Todd Cousins made a
motion to accept the agenda.
Robert Mayo seconded the motion.
All members present were in favor.
After a brief discussion about the
financial section of the report, a
motion was made by Rhonda Jackson
and seconded by Don Breiland to
approve the Library Board Annual
Report as written.Motion passed
with a roll call vote.

4. Adjournment:
The Annual Report includes a
Financial Statement based on
documents from the Finance
Department. The statement reflects
the revenues collected through
June 20, 2014 and expenditures
made through June 20, 2014 for the
Apache Junction Public Library
from the General Fund (001), the
Grants -in -trust Fund (004),and the
Library Fund (007).
The Library collected statistical
data through June 20, 2014, on
reference inquiries, interlibrary
loans, registered readers and
books added and withdrawn.Also
included were the numbers of
books, audio and video materials
in the collection, and the number
of print newspaper and magazine
subscriptions.The report gives
figures for the circulation counts
for books, magazines, audios and
videos that were checked out
during the year.Additional
statistics showed in-house
computer use, volunteer hours and
patron visits for the year.
As always, the FOL sponsored, in
part or in whole, many of the
special interest programs for
youth and adults.
