November 13, 2014
A. Call to Order
A regular meeting of The Board of Trustees of Apache
Junction Public Library was held November 13, 2014, at 6:35
p.m. at the Apache Junction Library pursuant to notice as
prescribed by law. With the President absent, Vice
President Todd Cousins conducted the meeting.

C. Acceptance of Agenda:

September 11, 2014

Regular
The question of accepting the
agenda for the November 13,
2014, regular Meeting was
placed before the Board.
Loretta made a motion to
accept the agenda with a
change to move Item 1.1 right
after Item D. Todd Cousins
seconded the motion. All
members present were in
favor.
The question of accepting the
minutes for the September 11,
2014 regular Meeting was
placed before the Board.
Robert Mayo made a motion to

Cousins seconded the motion.
All members present were in
favor.
1.1 Welcome new Library Board
Member.Welcome Judy Borey.Judy is
retired from the Boys and
Girls club where she worked
for 20 years.She is very
excited to be on the Library
Board.

I. New Business
Spencer provided a quick
review for our newest
members.
In addition Spencer discussed
the budget, stating that we
are currently on target in
terms of spending. Pinal
County has had a reduction in
money they receive which will
also reduce some monies that
the library receives.
New program ideas for all
ages.Judy Borey suggested a
cookbook club.
2.Election of
Officers Robert Mayo made a motion
to nominate Todd Cousins for
office of President. Todd
Cousins seconded the motion.
All members present were in
favor.

K. Adjournment:
Judy Borey made a motion to
nominate Loretta Nielsen for
office of Vice President.
Todd Cousins seconded the
motion. All members present
were in favor.
Todd Cousins made a motion to
nominate Judy Borey for
office of Secretary. Loretta
Nielsen seconded the motion.
All members present were in
favor.
