Idaho Road Special Meeting June 25, 2015 A.Call to Order A special meeting of The Board of Trustees of Apache Junction Public Library was held June 25, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at the Apache Junction Library pursuant to notice as prescribed by law. With the Secretary absent, President Todd Cousins conducted the meeting and appointed Rhonda Jackson as acting secretary. B.Roll Call Present Todd Cousins Rhonda Jackson Robert Mayo Randy Mullen Loretta Nielsen Absent Theresa Nesser Judy Borey Staff:Spencer Paden, Library Director Sancie Lee -Brown, Administrative Assistant C.Acceptance of Agenda: 2. Discussion on and possible vote for approval of the Apache Junction Public Library Board of Trustees Annual 2014-2015 Annual Report: The question of accepting the agenda for the June 25, 2015 regular Meeting was placed before the Board. Loretta Nielsen made a motion to accept the agenda. Randy Mullen seconded the motion. All members present were in favor. After a brief discussion about the report, a motion was made by Rhonda Jackson and seconded by Todd Cousins to approve the City of Apache Junction Library Board of Trustees Annual Report Page 2 Library Board Annual Report as written.Motion passed with a roll call vote. The Annual Report includes a Financial Statement based on documents from the Finance Department. The statement reflects the revenues collected through June 20, 2015 and expenditures made through June 20, 2015 for the Apache Junction Public Library from the General Fund (001), the Grants -in -trust Fund (004), and the Library Fund (007). The Library collected statistical data through June 20, 2015, on reference inquiries, interlibrary loans, registered readers and books added and withdrawn.Also included were the numbers of books, audio and video materials in the collection, and the number of print newspaper and magazine subscriptions.The report gives figures for the circulation counts for books, magazines, audios and videos that were checked out during the year.Additional statistics showed in-house computer use, volunteer hours and patron visits for the year. As always, the FOL sponsored, in part or in whole, many of the special interest programs for youth and adults. City of Apache Junction Library Board of Trustees Annual Report Page 3 4.
