Spceial Meeting
August 15, 1980
A special meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of
Trustees was held on August 15, 1980 at the Apache Junction
City Hall Complex pursuant to notice as prescribed by law.

A new budget was drawn up and
approved by all members.
Request for a follow-up of the
letter of Intent for Federal
funding and a new library
building at the City Hall Complex
was made.
It was decided the library was to
be staffed by a certified Master of
Library Science with a minimum of
1-2 years experience.
It was asked under Public Works
Community Services, what funds
would be available to the Library.
A request was made from the City
Clerk's Office as to the funds
available from federal funding.
A Library Policies Manual is to be
drawn up by Elizabeth Burks and
Donald Taylor.
A motion was made by Hazel Eldridge
to stay in same site until the "
Library is ready to move to a
permanent building.Motion was
seconded by Elizabeth Burks.
Carried unanimous.
Motion to adjourn was made by
Hazel Eldridge and seconded by
Donald Taylor.
