REGULAR MEETING
April 7, 1981
A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of
Trustees was held on April 7, 1981, at 7:00 P.M. at the Apache
Junction City Hall Complex pursuant to notice as prescribed by
PRESENT:
Eleanor Lewis, President
Jan Hiller, Secretary
Don Taylor
ABSENT:
Elizabeth Burks
Hazel Eldridge

There was no progress to be reported on
the Library Contract.A request was made
to table meetings until a contract could
be resolved.
A call was made to coordinate a possible
contract agreeable with present Library
Board.Ms. Hansen is to take the contract
to her attorney and a have a report for
this Library Board on May 5, 1981.
Mrs. Lewis stated there was a lack of
funding for a librarian due to the federal
cuts in spending.Mr. Lee urged the
Board to remain in session to prepare
all advance work necessary for when the
library would be turned over to the City.
A motion to adjourn was made by Donald
Taylor and seconded by
