REGULAR MEETING
July 7, 1981
A Regular Meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of
Trustees was held on July 7, 1981 at 7:00 p.m. at the Apache
Junction City Hall Complex pursuant to notice as prescribed by law.

Mabel Livingston, Library Board Association
Mary Fitzgibbon, Friends of the Library
ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA:Discussion of library contract with
Ms. Hansen.
ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES:A motion was made by Don Taylor to
accept the minutes of the regular
meeting of June 2, 1981 as presented,
and seconded by Elizabeth Burks.
Motion carried unanimously.
REPORTS:None.
OLD BUSINESS:

Library contract report.Attorney
Wayne Legg is on vacation.The present
Association will comply with the legal
description and running inventory of
books.Motion made by Elizabeth Burks
and seconded by Jan Hiller.Motion
carried unanimously.
Elizabeth Burks to study rules, regula-
tions, and by laws for the new library.
Mary Fitzgibbon to investigate starting
Friends of the Library.Also to read
the Friends of the Library by-laws.It
was advised the necessity to advertise
the Friends of the Library and get
volunteers and business contributions.
A motion to adjourn was made by Don
Taylor and seconded by Elizabeth Burks.
Motion carried unanimously.
