REGULAR MEETING
August 4, 1981
A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of
Trustees was held on August 4, 1981 at 7:00 p.m. at the Apache
Junction City Hall Complex pursuant to notice as prescribed by law.

A motion was made by Eleanor Lewis
and seconded by Lillian Castro to
accept the agenda."By laws for_the
Library" copies passed out to board
members so they can be read at home,
and be discussed at the next regular
meeting.
A motion was made by Eleanor Lewis
to accept the minutes of the regular
meeting of July 7, 1981 as presented.
Motion seconded by Elizabeth Burks.
Motion carried unanimously.
A motion was made by Eleanor Lewis
to accept the minutes of the special
meeting of July 29, 1981 after
corrections were made.Motion seconded
by Elizabeth Burks.Motion carried
unanimously.
The Mayor and the City Attorney are to
discuss the Library contract.The
details of this discussion will be
about the transition from the old
library building to the new, so that
it will satisfy donars of the old
library.Motion made by Lillian Castro
and seconded by Eleanor Lewis.Motion
carried unanimously.
Discussion was held on recommending an-
other trustee so there will be an uneven
number so that a tie vote will be un-
likely.
Lillian Castro made a motion to adjourn
with Eleanor Lewis making the second.
Motion carried unanimously.
