REGULAR MEETING
January 5, 1932
A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of
Trustees was held on January 5, 1982 at 7:00 D.M. at the Apache
Junction City Hall Complex pursuant to notice as prescribed by
law.
PRESENT ABSENT
Elizabeth Burks, President
Don Taylor, Secretary
Jan Hiller
Hazel Eldridge
Eleanor Lewis
Lillian Castro
CALL TO ORDER:The meeting was called to order by
Elizabeth Burks, President.
ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA:Eleanor Lewis made a motion to accent
the agenda as amended.Hazel Eldridge
seconded the motion which carried
unanimously.
ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES: Pazel Eldridge made a motion to accept
the minutes of the December 1, 1981
regular meeting as presented.Jan
Hiller seconded the motion which passed
unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS:
Meeting change:
Hazel Eldridge made a motion to accept
the minutes of the December 21, 1981
special meeting as presented.Jan
Hiller seconded the motion which passed
unanimously.
Jan Hiller made a motion to table a
discussion on the meeting night until a
future time.Eleanor Lewis seconded the
motion which carried unanimously.
A.Library
Donation Update:Old library will not allow installation
of telephone until the City of Apache
Junction officially takes over with a
librarian.
B.County Funds: A request for county funds in the amount
of $2,600.00 to be used to buy books.
A book list must be submitted by April 1.
NEW BUSINESS:
A.Budget:A library budget of $12,650 was approved
by the City Council on January 5, 1982.
A librarian can now be advertised.
B.Special
Meeting:A special meeting is to be called to
discuss criteria for advertising for a
librarian.

ADJOURNMENT:Hazel Eldridge made a motion to adjourn.
Motion was seconded by Eleanor Lewis
and carried unanimously.
