held on June 1,1982 at 7:00 p.m.at
notice as prescribed by law.

OLD BUSINESS
A.Ordinance
Junction Library Board of Trustees was
the Apache Junction Library pursuant to
ABSENT
Burks,Librarian
A motion was made by Jan Hiller to accept
the agenda as presented.Motion seconded
by Eleanor Lewis,and passed unanimously.
A motion was made by Ruby Foresberg to
accept the minutes of the Regular Meeting
April 6,1982,the Special Meeting April 16,
1982,and the Regular Meeting May 4,1982.
Motion was seconded by Margaret Carlin,
and passed unanimously.
The librarian reported that Apache Junction
was number three in volumes circulated,
with Casa Grande number one and Coolidge
number two.Pinal County is going to
provide $100.00 for magazines,funds will
arrive shortly.
The clerk Judy is working out well.
The question:Should volunteers from
Maricopa County pay library card fee?
Our answer:yes.
To be discussed in old business.
The ordinance committee drafted an
ordinance and turned i t in to the City
Manager.
The City Manager in turn returned an
an ordinance to us.This draft at this
meeting has been discussed by the entire
board.As i t stands this ordinance is
unsatisfactory and we are calling a special
meeting with the City Manager and i f
possible the City Attorney to iron out
these differences.
