Special Meeting
October 14, 1982
A Special Meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of Trustees was
held on October 14, 1982 at 7:00 p.m. at the Apache Junction Library pursuant to
notice as prescribed by law.
PRESENT ABSENT

STAFF PRESENT:Pam Glowka, Librarian
ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA:
OLD BUSINESS:
-A. Recommended new library hours.
NEW BUSINESS:
A. Library Parking.
B. Library Workroom.

A motion was made by Hazel Eldridge to
accept the agenda as presented. Motion
seconded by Marge Carlin, and passed un-
animously.
A motion was made to accept the new Lib-
rary hours by Jan Hiller, The motion was
seconded by Marge Carlin, and was passed
unanimously.The hours under discussion
are as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday,
Friday 11 a.m. to 5.p.m. and on Wednesday
12 a.m. to 7 p.m.
A motion was made by Jan Hiller to accept
two signs for Library Parking one on the
east side of the building and one on the
left side of the building. The motion was
seconded by Marge Carlin, and was passed
unanimously.
A motion was made by Marge Carlin to en-
close the old front entrance porch for a
Library workroom. The motion was second-
ed by Jan Hiller, and was passed unani-
mously
A motion was made by Don Taylor to in-
stall lights for parking and outdoor
safety of staff and patrons. The motion
was seconded by Marge Carlin, and was
passed unanimously.
A motion was made by Don Taylor for_all
the board members that can including the
Librarian to attend the city council meet-
ing on October 18, 1982 at 7 p.m. The
motion was seconded by Hazel Eldridge and
was passed unanimously.
A motion was made by Marge Carlin to ad-
journ.The motion was seconded by Jan
Hiller and was passed unanimously.
