A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of Trustees
was held May 3, 1983 at 7 p.m. at the Apache Junction Library pursuant
notice as prescribed by law.

A motion was made by Jan Hiller to accept the
agenda as presented. The motion was seconded
by Eleanor Lewis and passed unanimously.
A motion was made by Eleanor Lewis, to accept
the minutes of April 5, 1983. The motion was
seconded by Hazel Eldridge and passed unanimous
ly.
More new people are using the Library. A large
number of cards were issued in April.There
will be a film shown on Saturdays (12:30 to
1:30 p.m.) as a part of the summer reading pro-
gram.Two city council people, Mayor Wendell
Clarke and Marie Shanks each staffed the Librar:
for a period of three hours during National Lib
rary Week.City Coucil to review the budget an

Copy read by Librarian and discussion was held.
A motion was made by Eleanor Lewis to accept th(
Book Selection Inquiry as presented by the Lib-
rarian.The Motion was seconded by Jan Hiller,
and passed unanimously.
After some discussion,a motion was made by
Hazel Eldridge, to discuss Selection Policy at
our June meeting.The motion was seconded by
Eleanor Lewis, and carried unanimously.
