The special meeting of the City Council of the City of Apache Junction,
Arizona, was held on May 26, 1987, at the Apache Junction City Council
Chambers pursuant to the notice required by law.

Mayor Hill called the meeting to order at 6.00 p.m.

PROPOSED RESOLUTION NO. 87-28, ACCEPTING
AND ADOPTING THE CANVASS OF VOTES FOR
GENERAL ELECTION, MAY 19, 1987
City Clerk Kathleen Connelly
explaind that according to State Law a resolution must be adopted approving
the Canvass of Vites for the General Election, which was held on May 19, 1987.
Councilman Eidson asked to open
the Official Returns to check the ballots, prior to adopting Resolution No. 87-28.
Councilwoman Taylor opened the

Councilwoman Gardner MOVED THAT
RESOLUTION NO. 87-28, A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION, PINAL AND MARICOPA COUNTIES, ARIZONA, CONDUCTING AND ACCEPTING
THE OFFICIAL CANVASS OF VOTES FOR THE APACHE JUNCTION GENERAL ELECTION HELD
MAY 19, 1987, BE APPROVED AND ADOPTED.
Councilwoman Taylor seconded
the motion.
VOTE: Unanimous
The motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Councilman Eidson MOVED THAT THE
MEETING BE ADJOURNED AT 6 10 P.M.
Councilman Burgess seconded
the motion.
VOTE: Unanimous
The motion carried.
