Regular meeting
December 3, 1985
A regular meeting of the Apache Junction Library Board of Trustees was held
December 3, 1985 at 6:00 p.m. at the Apache Junction Library pursuant to notice as
prescribed by law.

1. Acceptance of Agenda: Motion to accept agenda was
made by Jan Hiller and seconded
by Hazel Eldridge. Passed
unanimously.
2. Acceptance of Minutes: Motion to accept minutes of Nov.
5 meeting was made by Hazel
Eldridge and seconded by Barbara
Gordon. Passed unanimously.
3. Librarian Report: Pamela Loui, Librarian, reported
a total circulation of 4,703 this
past month, compared to 4,137 a
year ago. There were eight story
hours held in November with a
total of 102 participants, two
workshops with 54 participating
and a volunteer recognition
presentation with 13 participating.
Motion was made by Jan Hiller and
seconded by Gary Doak to accept
Librarians Report. Accepted
unanimously.
4. Old Business:
A. Status report on new library building: It was reported they are ready to
pour slabs. The architect is very
pleased.
B. Appointment of a secretary: Barbara Gordon was appointed by
the President.
5. New Business:
A. Introduction of new Board Member: Barbara Gordon was introduced.
6. Call to the Public: None present.
7. Requests for Future Agenda Items: None mentioned.
8. Adjournment: Motion made by Jan Hiller and
seconded by Ruby Forsberg the
meeting be adjourned. Motion
carried.
